Regarding the issue:
When you set the playback speed at 1.0x, speed control is disabled.
I don’t understand what the problem is.

Move the main menu the right upper corner -> easier large phone navigation
Currently the main menu is on the high left side corner. This makes it hard to reach on large phones with one hand. By moving this to the right it will be far easier. At least for right handed people.
3 votesAre you talking about opening the navigation sidebar ?
If so the default place in Android is on the left side of the screen.
You don’t have to press on the app toolbar icon to open it. You can drag the sidebar from the left side of the screen -

The device built-in player isn’t reliable anymore since Lollipop. There’s also the memory leak issue which kills apps too frequently.
Until those fixes are released try rebooting the device once a day to limit those issues -
Allow setting to work with sonos

3 votesThe upcoming beta (v3.40) will remove the ‘podcast’ subfolder but only when you select the device ‘Podcasts’ library path to store downloaded files.
Make sure to return into Settings/Download/Storage folder to do so.Please let me know how it works for you (Settings/Feedback)

BUG: Podcast Addict still tracks user when "Enable statistics" is disabled
Despite "Enable statistics" being disabled, Podcast Addict still does unique user tracking on startup and still uploads complete podcast subscription list.

Use the ‘Settings/feedback/Report a bug’ form instead.When you disable the statistics, the app disable data sent to Google Analytics.
The app stores anonymous subscriptions on its server in order to handle the Top podcast list and podcast recommendation as explained in the app privacy policy.
There’s no tracking what so ever -
ensure cover art makes sense when an episode finishes
On my Kindle Fire when Podcast Addict finishes an episode, for instance a Radio Lab episode, it then jumps to the cover art for an episode in some other subscription, like On The Media. I suggest that PA should either just stay with the artwork for the episode that just finished or jump back to the list of episodes in that subscription.
1 voteOnce an episode is finished, the player will switch to the next episode in the playlist. So the player will display this episode artwork.
Make sure to order your playlist before starting the playback -

Notify user when SoundCloud public RSS is not available
I added a few SoundCloud URLs (e.g. soundcloud.com/nasa) but I didn't receive any episode list. I was confused for a minute. Then I checked their RSS url which didn't contain anything.
Thus, my suggestion.

1 voteI’m not sure to understand what you ask for. Any empty RSS feed you subscribed to will display no episode. The counter will remain null, so it already says that there’s no content in the feed. What are you asking for?

Bug. Since yesterday the player skips through episodes in 8 minute, serial e07 plays in about 3 seconds

Please give more information about the issue. Are you streaming or playing a downloaded episode.
What does that mean ‘player skips through episodes in 8 minute, serial e07 plays in about 3 seconds’The playback is handled by the device built-in player. If you got a playback issue on every podcast, please try rebooting the device, it means that Android mediaplayer service is in an ‘invalid state’

Hi,
It’s against Android best practice to add an ‘exit button’.
Only secured app like banking apps should have it.
The app doesn’t use any CPU/battery when you’re not listening to a podcast. You can check this easily in Android battery statistic screenXavier

You have to enable the action mode from the toolbar menu, then select the episodes and finally select the action (download, delete, mark read, …)

YouTube is a streaming only service. Downloading its content is forbidden and will make the app banned from the Play Store.
Until Google authorizes it I won’t add such feature -
external video player
When using an external video player (mx player), new downloaded videos are not added to the playlist any more, neither automatically nor can I do so manually. By switching back to the internal video player, I can add videos in all possible ways. But with an external player it won't work. Am I doing something wrong or is this maybe a bug?

Best regard!1 voteThis is normal. The playlist is only intended to be used with the device internal player. Disabling the app player will just open the video on the 3rd party player

Better restore option please
I had to switch phones and had trouble moving my profile over. I could make an opml file quite easily. Whether it was on the nexus or on dropbox. However to read the opml file on the new nexus was impossible with the tools provided. Here is what I had to do:
1) Notice where the opml files were being stored.
2) Store the old opml file on dropbox.
3) Hook the new phone into my laptop and drag the opml file from dropbox to where podcast addict expected to find the file in point 1.We should not have…
1 voteThe first 2 steps are not necessary because once the backup is done you just have to press the share button to export the file to Dropbox. You can also share through yourself through mail then open this email on your new device. But you can also open the Dropbox app on your new device and press on the opml backup to restore it. No need to copy files from a computer

This is the way pull to refresh works now on Android. If you want to disable this you need to disable Pull to refresh in Settings/Update

Poder guardar los podcast en le tarjeta de memoria externa.
Perdonen pero no encuentro esta opción en la aplicación o yo seré muy torpe, sería fantástico crear una carpeta en tarjeta externa en la cual guardar los podcast que me descargue. jp

Display folder structure for local audio files
I have many audiobook folders under my 'audio' folder, each containing filenames like 01-AudioTrack 01.mp3.
The problem is that Podcast Addict collapses them all into one long list making it impossible to play the files from a single audiobook.
24 votesWhen you create a virtual podcast, and select a main folder containing difefrent audiobooks in their own sub folders, the app automatically asks you if you want to create a unique podcast in the app or one for each subfolder.
This feature was temporarily disabled for the past few months as Google restricted app access to the files, but I just found a workaround and this feature is back in the upcoming v2020.5 version

please add a new option to hide podcast files from other music player apps.
I'm annoyed by finding podcasts playing when I shuffle my music in my regular music app. It'd be great to have an option to hide these files from other players. This can be done by putting .nomedia files in each directory where the podcast files reside.

You need to make sure the other app doesn’t browse Podcats Addict download folder.
Also make sure you didn’t enable Settings/Share with other app, but if your music app doesn’t handle this standard Android flag there’s nothing I can do -
fix the problem with lockscreen controls
Hi, there. I have a nexus 5 phone and since the upgrade to lollipop i have lost the lockscreen controls even when i choose this option in the settings. Cannot do anything. The screen just locks with the artwork but no controls. It is really troublesome unlocking the phone to pausr the pod in cold weather

Regarding the issue, the lock screen widget works fine. You’re facing a lollipop bug when the ‘sensitive notifications’ are hidden from the lock screen widget. -
Update
Update failed on my favourite podcast due to poor connection. Now it refuses to update the podcast regardless of good connection.

Regarding the issue, what do you mean by ‘refuses to update’ ? Do you have an error message ? What does it say? What is the podcast RSS feed url ?
