  2. View full size cover art

    Sometimes episodes have cover art that's a reference to something in the show, or maybe I just want to get a better look. There's currently no way to zoom in or even see it full size on the screen. It's the only thing I've thought was lacking in the app for four years.

  5. Add a feature to put a line between priorities when viewing podcasts or playlist sorted by priority

    It would just be really useful to see the borders between priority numbers when I'm looking at my playlist.

  7. Mark older episodes as played from downloaded episodes

    The "Mark older episodes as played" feature is very useful from each podcast menu. Please add this option from the Downloaded Episodes menu.

  9. pause a podcast download temporarily

    I would like to be able to temporarily pause automatic podcast downloads when hosts go on vacation, or I'm tired of a podcast and would like for it to automatically resume at some later period.

    For example, > Custom podcast setting, > Keep Updated, > Pause Podcast, > Options, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months.

  10. Add an option to disable animations

    Add an option to disable animations in the player like the scrolling podcast name and flashing timestamp when paused. It can be sensory overload for some of us.

  11. Automatic Rewind

    I have a couple ideas for a new features. The first I think it would be nice if the Automatic Rewind had the option to adjust the playback speed up to the next threshold until the position in the episode has returned to where we left off.

    I'll give an example. Let's say the Speed Adjustment at 1.2x Automatic Rewind set to 5 minutes with Incremental Rewind enabled. And an example scenario might be that the Automatic Incremental rewind moved the current position back 3 minutes. So for the next 3 minutes the player would operate at a playback speed…

  13. Support a configuration to "automatically share" podcast description after listen-complete.

    Some users may listen to podcasts / audio content for professional or educational purposes, and therefore have to log the content in external systems.

    Problem: Currently, for a user to share an episode description is a multi-step manual process through the AP menu system, which is suboptimal.

    It would be useful to provide these user with a PA configuration that supports automatically sharing listened episodes' descriptions to some external system. E.g. send podcast description text to email.

    Prefer this to be a setting at a podcast subscription level... though I imagine there are cases where users want to set it…

  14. Show all episodes (played, unplayed) of a specific podcast category

    I want to gain an overview (get context) of played and unplayed episodes of a group of podcasts of a specific category (e.g. all NASA podcasts grouped under my label NASA).

  15. Allow setting default priority

    Currently all podcasts start with default priority 1 and priorities <1 are not supported.

    My current workflow is to have the majority of podcasts at priority 10 with some backup listening left at priority 1. When I add a new podcast this means I have to manually set its priority to 10 otherwise I'll never hear it.

    Either I want to be able to set the default priority to 10 or be able to set priority to values below the default (i.e. 0 and below).

  16. Add a "stop" button for radio podcast

    Since the only way to avoid ads is to stop streaming (long press on pause button) instead of pausing it, maybe would be nice to have a "stop" button near the "pause" button, for radio podcasts in particuliar. Long press behaviour is not very intuitive and there's room for such a button on the UI.

  17. Sort playlist based on number of episodes available minus unlistened.

    This idea is to attempt to never miss anything by old episodes never being downloaded due to no longer being on the podcast list. Prioritize by how close the oldest is to being made unavailable.

    When I'm listening to a podcast and am on the Player screen, I'd like a simple way to get to the full entry for the podcast, with the podcast description, ability to favorite the podcast, etc.
