- Save your data
In order to do so, make sure you are using the latest version of the app on the device you want to backup.
Then open the backup menu (Settings/Settings/Backup & Restore) and press on the 'Full Backup' entry.
The app database and settings will be extracted and compressed into a single file that you can easily backup/transfer using the 'Share' button in the dialog that opens once the backup is finished.
That way your file will be safely available on the cloud at the end of this step
- Restore the data
Now in order to restore your data, make sure to install the exact same version of the app on your new device, then download your backup file on the device.
When it's done, open the restore menu (Settings/Backup & Restore) and press on the 'Restore' entry.
You will have to browse your device file hierarchy in order to select the backup file (default file name is PodcastAddict_xxx.backup). Once it's done, the app will replace its current database and ask you to restart the app in order to reload the restored data & settings.
It will also ask you if you want it to redownload every episode that was downloaded on the backed up device.
Be careful it can take some time and use a lot of data depending on how many downloaded files you had.
If before restoring the data you copy the downloaded files on the new device, then make sure to say YES when asked if you want to redownload the episodes.
The app will start by looking for an existing local file and will skip the download if it finds it.
