    If the behavior of the current speed adjustment was modified so tap would toggle the adjustment on/off and long press would go to The current interface I think that would be ideal or vice versa; long press for toggle.

    Or even just put the toggle switch from within the adjustment screen next to the speed indicator in the main player, there seems to be room...
