I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

    Thanks

I've noticed the current implementation will tend to oversaturate podcasts close to normalized volume when boosting. I think it needs some additional smarts or a different library to prevent distorting the sound.

I find as well that perhaps the current audio libraries distort the audio. Volume boost works well for some quiet podcasts but for ones closer to normal it distorts. Maybe volume boost needs some proportional boost rather than a +10db thing. It may even need to look ahead to determine if temporary reductions need to happen to avoid a saturation scenario. It certainly varies from podcast to podcast player. Others I've used sound great but don't support priority playlists or handle metadata well.
