    This means that the podcast owner doesn't follow RSS specs and is first publishing a 'placeholder' with no attached file and then later the episode.
    This isn't how this should be done.
    You can go into your podcast custom settings and then in the filter section and disable the 'Text' content. That way the app will not show those kinds of episodes anymore until there's an attached file.
    This should fix the issue

    Unfortunately this depends mostly on Sonos...
    They decide who can work with their devices/ecosystem

    I focus on new features based on the popularity of the request.
    Stats show that very few users have an Android watch so I'm sorry but this feature isn't at the top of my todo list for now

    The Custom playlist shows the content of the selected category, so depending on the podcast you're listening to and on the current category, then yes an episode can be displayed in the Audio and Custom tabs of the playlist screen, but the purpose of those tabs isn't the same.
    If you want to manage a single playlist, then you just have to use the audio tab

    I don't understand the last comment. How would this feature request help you playing podcasts right away ? You can already do that by enabling Automatic playlist in Settings/Playlist

    You can select how many downloaded files you want to keep by podcast. If you want to you can also customize this by podcast

    I'm not sure to understand what the 'default 1GB limit'.
    The app can only delete downloaded episodes on its own if you enabled Settings/Automatic cleanup

    There's a hardcoded value in the app that only starts downloading if there's still 100MB of free space once the download is finished. I will later add some settings to tune this

    The app doesn't manage YT playback. The YT app is in charge of it, and only YT Red subscribers might be able to listen to a video in the background

    You can only play YT content in the background if you're a YT Red subscribers, otherwise it's not authorized

    If you stop playback before the end of the episode is reached, then the episode will remain in this screen.
    You can reset the progress of any episode (manually or using the batch function) if you want to. Please send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

    This is a screen that reminds you about every episode you started and didn't finish. This isn't the purpose of the playlist

    That's strange because the default behavior is to open every link in a separate tab. I tested on all my devices and it works fine.

    What do you mean by keeping episode up to date? The app shows the full content of the RSS feed you subscribed to.
    You can change the frequency of the automatic update settings if you want to.
    Please provide more details.

    Why do you want to remove the bookmark button?
    This button allows you to access the podcast chapters when available as well.
    Dates are displayed by the device not by the app. It uses the device locale and settings to use the proper format. If the date is part of the episode title/description, then it has been formatted by the podcast owner and cannot be overwritten

    Unfortunately, it looks like in order to be able to connect and stream to a Sonos device, the content would need to be hosted on Podcast Addict Servers. Because of this restriction, this feature won't be available in Podcast Addict...

    The app doesn't handle the BT connection. Once you set the connection in your device settings, then the app will play podcasts using whatever BT receiver is connected. For Sonos, this is different, because they don't use any open standard. They require the use of their own SDK which is only available to their partner for now.
    So for now only 'big companies' have access to it...

    Unfortunately after checking this, Android doesn't allow to customize progressbar color in widget at runtime. This can only be hardcoded into the app...

    The cleanup feature only deletes unused artwork files. It won't clear the one used by your podcasts/episodes.
    Most devices today have a FULL HD device and many even have a 2K/3K or even 4K screen. This means that artwork files cannot be resized to 200x200 or even 600x600 on every device.
    Also in order to resize the file the app would still need to download the original file first which means that this won't save any data.
    BTW you can enable artwork file download over WiFi only in the app Settings/Network

    Unfortunately it looks like they are only listing partners app from big brands.Podcast Addict will keep playing until another app asks for audio focus. Depending on the audio focus request type it will then automatically resume or not when retrieving focus.
