You can enable this globally from the app settings but you can override it from the player screen in which case the app will memorize the setting per podcastAn error occurred while saving the comment It just increases the volume in real time, so yes the sound quality won't be so great. There's no processing of the file during download
An error occurred while saving the comment The next version (currently in beta), adds a 'Volume boost' feature in the player screen menu.
This isn't what you were asking for but it might help. Please try the latet beta and let me know how it works for you.
ThanksAn error occurred while saving the comment FYI there will be an equalizer in the next version... but without normalization implementation :(

An error occurred while saving the comment You can adjust the current position precisely using the << / >> buttons which by default will skip -15s / + 30s
If changing the position jumps at a random position it means that the device built-in player (in charge of the playback) doesn't fully support the current type of file.
In that case there's nothing I can do to fix the issue. -

An error occurred while saving the comment I will add a new setting under 'Settings/Player' to keep the screen ON when the player screen is displayed (doesn't take the power status into account)

An error occurred while saving the comment You can open the podcast to see its episodes. By default new episodes are displayed first, so you can easily scroll down to see episodes which are 2-3 weeks old.
You can also open the 'All' entry in the navigation sidebar to find those 2-3 weeks old episodes -

An error occurred while saving the comment The app doesn't handle the playback. Playback is handled by the device built-in player.
So the app isn't involved in the buffer handling. The buffer is just a memory where the BT receiver will store a couple of seconds of data when an episode is played with a small delay to prevent interruption. It doesn't involve any remote commands (rewind or other) if it's properly handled.
If the app rewinds multiple times it means that it received multiple rewind commands. Those should only happen when the rewind button is pressed multiple time on the BR receiver, otherwise it's a BT receiver bug. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Are you talking about the podcast name or the episode name ?

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry but I don't understand what you're asking for. Can you please give a real example ?
By default the app displays the full episode description -

An error occurred while saving the comment Trash has nothing to do with 'once Listened to'.
If you enabled the trash, the app sill store the episodes automatically deleted in the 'trash' for the duration of your choice before they are really deleted.
It's a security, so you can restore them if you feel asleep while listening to a podcast for example -

An error occurred while saving the comment Please vote for the download manager instead, because it will means many new features like concurrent downloads, reordering downloads, pausing downloads, ...
But it will take some time before I start working on this. Right now, I'm finishing some server developments, then I' will resume working on the cross device syncing. -

An error occurred while saving the comment You can already do something similar by enabling the shuffle mode in the player screen

An error occurred while saving the comment You can try enabling Settings/Player/Headset/Always listening which will try keeping the player service up and running. It won't use more battery but the drawback is that the app may not be playing nicely with other player apps are used on the device. Pressing the headset /BT controls will be sent in priority to Podcast Addict with this setting enabled, but it may solve your issue
An error occurred while saving the comment You can display the app player screen in car mode (action bar menu).
I'm guessing it answers this suggestion.
Please let me know if I can close it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Podcast Addict is running on ChromeOS using ChromeOS Android runtime.
For now the runtime is limited and it doesn't provide the Google Play Services which are used to connect Android apps to the Chromecast. So until they provide the Google Play Services support in to this runtime this won't be possible -

An error occurred while saving the comment The settings you're talking about is just to authorize or not undownloaded episodes to be added to the playlist when you press the 'add unread to playlist' button.
If you press the play button on an undownloaded episode then it will be added to the playlist.
You can select how episodes are added to the playlist. By default it's set up to manual mode, but you can enable automatic playlist for all episodes or for downloaded episodes onlyAn error occurred while saving the comment The app will only stream if you start playing an episode that isn't downloaded
An error occurred while saving the comment Episodes are in the playlist because you try to play them. The best way not to stream episodes is to enable automatic download for your favorite podcasts with automatic playlist and then onlybstart playback from the playlist screen

An error occurred while saving the comment There's no support for Android TV or the Fire TV. The app already supports remote controls (every KEYCODE_MEDIA)

An error occurred while saving the comment The player notification can only be displayed when the player service is running. It cannot be displayed once the player service has been killed.
In your case it looks like the app service has been killed (Moto G ?)An error occurred while saving the comment I'm not sure to understand what you're asking. You want a notification that's always there no matter if the app is running or not?
That's not possible unless the app uses a constant foreground service which isn't the case nor use full with the app. But when the player is started then you have the player notification that remains available and you can press on it to open the app -

An error occurred while saving the comment But in that case you will never know the current sorting mode: automatic or manual...
An error occurred while saving the comment I don't understand the request. You can't have both. It's either manual or automatically sorted, but you cannot have both
Yes by podcast I mean subscription. Every episode of Podcast A will use this settings, while it will remain disabled for Podcast B
