It would be a great functionality. This is it, Xavier: when you go to the "audiobook" option to choose a local folder to be used as a podcast, there could appear too cloud storage services, so you can choose a remote folder to be listened to saving space in the card.

Something like this when you browse to add a folder:

You can test this new feature right now by joining the Beta on the play store app page, then by updating the app.

You can then change the skip silence aggressiveness either globally or per podcast. Please contact me if you have any questions (Settings/Feedback)

    Thanks

That's true. There are short natural pauses when people speak that if removed the dialogue sounds weird. If it would be possible to choose how long the silence to be cut, this would be minimized.

    Best regards

I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

    Thanks

But this is not volume boost. This is a different thing.

This characteristic would be so great. To be able to hear a full podcast with the same decibels, overriding podcast's mic problems, different voices volumes, etc
