I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in

Hmmm I just found out about this request: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/4351924-add-support-for-https-gpodder-net (Add Support for gpodder).
This would solve two problems at once (but create a dependency for you): You don't need server code and could cross-sync between devices and pcs anyway with an established service.An error occurred while saving the comment Matt

Cloud sync (with login and https) could even mean that someone could write a Windows program to play podcasts on the desktop and keep sync with the phone :D
I'd just *love* to have some sort of mini Itunes for podcast management, downloading and possibly pushing to the phone.
The people of PodLove actually love podcasts, this is why they created a free syncing backend for all podcast clients to use, maybe this is something for you?
At least it is intended to stay around for longer, and additionally it is cross-platform capable and not specific to one app/developer, especially regarding maintenance and costs.

Using this would require a new permission (camera) though.
