Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in
Do most of those who have voted here need true sync of all the things mentioned in the suggestion?
I suspect that Xavier has got very stuck trying to make a proper bi-/multi-directional sync work. It's surely a challenge. So I have suggested a simpler goal which would (I hope) be simpler to implement and therefore more likely to be implemented successfully.
If you think that my suggestion would be adequate for you, please give it a vote. The message would be "This would be good enough. Better this than waiting many more years for full multi-platform sync."

I have made a separate suggestion for functionality which is deliberately limited in order to make it easier to implement.
In some ways, my suggestion may not be too different from this suggestion as there is probably less expectation of full sync on non-Android platforms. But if you feel "if we're not going to get proper multi-platform sync soon, please give priority to this basic functionality instead" (and the basic functionality referred to may even just be a spec for building a third-party client including desktop/web) then please vote for it:
