Part of this could also be making the player view aware of whether you're in split screen mode or not. Normally, I have the player in Car mode when full screen (landscape) as I prefer the larger player control buttons. However, when I split screen the app in Car mode, the controls don't show up well, so I then have to change to the default/normal view, where I can still access the player control buttons. Note that this is on a 7" Android head unit mounted in my vehicle.

This is one feature I miss from BeyondPod, my previous go to podcaster. While the widgets work, they don't show up as well as the app shortcut on my Android head unit, so having the ability to control startup screen within the app itself would be preferable. Plus, this setting can then be backed up and restored.

The next couple of versions will focus in getting reed of any existing issue, then I will resume working on this feature.
I may have found a solution to handle the charge necessary and which might not cost too much.

Once a first beta with basic subscription syncing is available I will study the impact on the servers (and the cost), then I will add more syncing step by step, in order to sync the read status, favorite flag, playback progress, …
Hopefully I’ll be able to add this feature in the free version

I would really like this feature to maintain my place in my playlist across both my phone and my in-dash Android head unit.
