Part of this could also be making the player view aware of whether you're in split screen mode or not. Normally, I have the player in Car mode when full screen (landscape) as I prefer the larger player control buttons. However, when I split screen the app in Car mode, the controls don't show up well, so I then have to change to the default/normal view, where I can still access the player control buttons. Note that this is on a 7" Android head unit mounted in my vehicle.

Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in
    Thanks

I would really like this feature to maintain my place in my playlist across both my phone and my in-dash Android head unit.
