An error occurred while saving the comment Thomas A commentedUsing an USB OTG cable/adapter, one can connect a USB thumb drive to the phone. This drive gets mounted in /mnt/media_rw.
It would be really handy to be able to download episodes to this drive (in my case, it's an external MP3 player :) )
When using e.g. Solid Explorer, Android does a permission request when trying to open a USB thumb drive.

I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?
Thanks

I think the implementation could go like this:
For each podcast, there is a counter called unseen or new.
A podcast is added to the app:
unseen=number of available episodes in the podcast
The list of episodes is shown to the user:
unseen=0
The user refreshes while having the list open:
unseen=0
The user goes back to the list of podcasts and refreshes. 2 new episodes is found for the podcast:
unseen=2
The user opens the episode list:
unseen=0
