Yeah, I agree. The priority system is the reason I use Podcast Addict. I even think I would have given up on podcasts by now without it. I haven't looked at the others recently, but when I was, they were all so bad at maintaining the playlist order, if they tried at all.
My current hack for this problem is to just listen to it immediately. After, it goes back to the top of the priority system. That works when it's just one episode.
The necessary feature, that Xavier already implemented, is the one where it goes back to the top of the list when you're not already playing from the top of the list. This particular feature is a nice to have, though if it makes it easier to implement, it's information that only needs to persist while the episode is on the playlist. Without knowing how the playlist is implemented, i think it could be attached to the playlist array rather than the episode. Obviously, if it's just an array of references to the episodes, that won't work.
