This would be great for audiobooks, especially if your phone is low on space. Instead of needing to have the full book on your phone, you could have it in Dropbox and PodcastAddict could just download the next episode (or next few episodes) and delete each one from your phone after you listen to it.

Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in
    Thanks

Yeah, this would be great. One of my main uses for bookmarks is in pop-culture podcasts, bookmarking segments about movies/shows I haven't seen yet, so I cam come back to them after watching the movie or TV show. It would be great if I could then see all my bookmarks with the same movie name grouped together.

Next version will allow you to select if you want to filter episodes list screen by podcast (like it is right now) or by category. If you select the later, then you can easily select the episodes for a specific category to apply an action like download, mark played, add to playlist, …

When I first started using categories, I was hoping the settings could be applied per-category. For example, set all podcasts in the "News" category to keep only the *newest* one or two episodes, but set all podcasts in another category to download the *oldest* 5 (or whatever) episodes; set the news ones to play at 1.5x, but the "Comedy" category to play at 1x, etc., without having to change that for each podcast individually. Ideally, every setting that is currently available for each podcast would also be able to be applied at the category level, except the ones that only make sense to apply to a specific podcast (like changing the name or URL). Basically, the categories should act as another level of default settings, in between the app-wide settings and the individual podcast settings.

You can test this new feature right now by joining the Beta on the play store app page, then by updating the app.

You can then change the skip silence aggressiveness either globally or per podcast. Please contact me if you have any questions (Settings/Feedback)

    Thanks
