    You can test this new feature right now by joining the Beta on the play store app page, then by updating the app.

    You can then change the skip silence aggressiveness either globally or per podcast. Please contact me if you have any questions (Settings/Feedback)

    this would clash with the way we are being urged to interact with android.

    I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

    I would suggest that the way to do this would be to run a peak profile at the time of dowload and store that in the same place as the download.

    For streamed i guess this wouldn't work and you'd need to do something else more elaborate involving attack and decay times.
