List of 10 Possible Improvements to the App
Hey guys,
Below I have listed 10 possible improvements to the Podcast Addict App. It was honestly hard to find 10 areas of improvement since the app is already very complete. Some of these suggestions may actually have already been implemented - disregard in this case.
Feel free to use the following 10 ideas to make your great app even better:
Allow random play of episodes within one or all of a user’s podcasts
Have the settings option directly on the main menu
Allow sharing of the episodes through social media like whatsapp, etc.
Introduce the option to start an episode as a sort of alarm clock
Connect the app with Twich, Youtube, etc. to allow more streaming content
Allow users to upload their content into the app so they can at least have a local library of their content
Have a list of suggested podcasts when a user first uses the app, based on a short list of questions asked when the user first signs up
Access my device’s music library and play it from the app
Rank podcasts by most viewed on the app or most downloaded, and all the other metrics, etc.
Allow user to set a data usage limit when play is done through mobile data. Play will stop once that limit is hit

Your suggestions will gain more traction as individual requests. Uservoice doesn't really do "the following 10 ideas".

You can already do 3, in player mode tap kebab menu (three dots) > Share
You can kind of do 5. YouTube channels are readable by RSS readers, so you can go to New Podcast > RSS and paste in the channel URL. I don't think you can do this with Twitch and it may be very difficult, depending on how the Twitch API works.
You can do 6, New Podcast > Virtual and find the folder with your content. The same goes for 8.
