Pause and resume by tapping two or three times on the phone.
I use the application when I'm hiking. My phone is in my pocket and it is not always easy for me to use to access the controls.
As I hike with other people, I have to unplug my headphones every time someone wants to talk to me because I do not have time to take my phone, turn on the screen and press break.
I know that there are readers who are used to pause by tapping two or three times on the phone.
It would be really great to build this functionality into podcastaddict.
Thank you for this remarkable application that became addictive to me.
Best Regards

I have very good headset without button. I do not want to change it. So I have to disconnect to pause and it is not practical to restart.
I hope one day the pause function by three little pats on the pocket that contains the phone. -

For the time being, I recommend that people who want this feature try using headset(s) with a microphone. These all come with a button on the cord that can be conveniently be used to pause and restart when talking with other people. The restart can be set to rewind a few seconds.

Please implement some form of physical button that can be used (e.g. on Galaxy S4) without turning on the screen.
On the Blackberry there was a physical button on the top corner that I used to pause/play podcasts. I used this all the time when someone wanted to talk to me or when there was a loud noise. I had this button configured with the BB Podtrapper app to auto-rewind a few seconds after the pause so I could catch up or hear what I missed as I was pausing.
Thanks - this is a great app!
