Bigger button and fewer clicks to add bookmark in car layout
While listening when driving, I would appreciate a large button to add a bookmark without prompting me to name the bookmark or requiring me to press back to get back to the player. There seems to be plenty of room on the car layout screen to add an "add bookmark" button near the player controls. Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this app. I can't recommend the app to enough people! :)

The bookmarks button definitely needs to be bigger in this layout. I use it as my standard layout even when at home, since the buttons are so big and easy to press.

This would be a great safety feature for all of us who listen while driving and don't have Android auto.
It would be helpful on both the car layout and the normal player. I use the bookmark feature a lot and would use it even more if it was safer to use while driving.

I listen whilst driving to the ability to one press bookmark and then it returns to the same screen where I can add another bookmark without pressing back etc. Even a long press on a volume key would be great as its tactile and doesn't require me to look at the screen nor wake it up.

Oops, I just realized this item is specifically for car layout, I actually don't use car layout, but would love to see this for regular layout (or at the very least an easier/no long press/fewer click way in the regular layout. Should I do a separate request for that?
Also, FWIW, agree with Rocky, I use bookmarks constantly but have never left text/title because I use the bookmarks specifically because I'm driving or the like and unable to type notes.

Yes please! And not require the long press and hold, I keep trying and somehow failing while driving and keep catching myself swerving out of my lane because I'm staring at the app trying to press and hold the bookmark button. It is getting pretty scary.
Maybe a setting to swap the long press to be going into bookmarks (which I do WAY less often then setting a bookmark)' Thanks!

I would like to see this from any listening layout. Love the existing option to define and describe each bookmark. Also, almost never do that. All I use 99%+ of the time is a blank bookmark. You know - like a real bookmark. Just a mark for a spot in a podcast. Current process is too cumbersome, especially considering the common highly mobile use of podcasts by most listeners. Suggest simple bookmark should be one-click. Bookmark with added details/notes - one long click. NOTE: This functional limitation continues to be my only continuing disappointment with this otherwise extraordinary, reliable, and well supported program.
