Introduce folders so that you can group podcasts
Really simple idea; just enable drag and drop folders like those for apps but for podcasts on the home screen.

AGREE, I am also after this solution. Note: Folder option would be more usable and more practicable than suggested by developer using category names and filters (at least in some/many scenarios)

I agree that this suggestion would make navigation much much simpler.
I have perhaps 100 podcasts but I only listen to a couple of them regularly. It is becoming a chore to sort through all the podcasts.
It's a similar problem as having too many apps on your phone or too many files on your desktop. Simply organizing based on categories does not solve this problem. Perhaps there's a workaround to my problem but I think folders makes the most sense and is the system that most people are comfortable with already.
The way I see it: I would like to have a top-level screen that I could have two folders in (or three, or four). Maybe one is my favorites and the other is all the rest. Or just podcasts about science. Etc etc.

You can override, edit, delete, add categories. This allows you to do something similar to the folders feature as you can group podcasts using the category name of your choice and select which category to display or play. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

Came here to leave this same suggestion; I'm often looking for the podcast I want to listen to at a stoplight or other time-sensitive situation and the ability to add top level organization that *I* define (rather than existing categories) would be super helpful!
