    Unfortunately this only depends on Waze.
    For now they are not interested by Podcast Addict supporting this feature...

    Unfortunately, major apps only are considered for now...

    @Reto: the app plays episodes based on your playlist. You can use the Custom playlist tab to create a specific category for this podcast and then listen to this category by selecting it. Feel free to send me an email in case you have any question (Settings/Feedback/Email)
    Thanks

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    @Reto you can use the virtual podcast feature to do so.

    @DaleEltoft you can do this by long pressing on the podcast, selecting Copy to clipboard and pasting the result into any other app to share it

    This feature already exists. You can change the playback speed from the player screen and the new selected speed will be the default one for the current podcast

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    @Craig Stacey
    You can do so by opening the player screen and select the playback speed of your choice. The playback speed will only change for this podcast

    @Dale
    This setting will only delete episodes when they have been listened to. Marking an episode as played will not delete it automatically

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    This works the other way around. Instead of marking an episode as read, delete it, that way it will be marked as read at the same time. Deleting an episode manually takes the exact same time as marking it as read. In both case you can use the select mode to select multiple episodes before choosing the action

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    @Colin Willson
    You can already do this.
    There's a setting which allows automatic deletion of downloaded episodes once they have been listened to.
    You can also long press on a podcast to delete all its downloaded episodes

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    Marking an episode as read doesn't delete it. However deleting episodes will also mark them as read at the same time

    I'm sorry but the Chromecast doesn't allow this for now. It takes a unique skip forward/backward value at the time of the connection which cannot be customized by podcast

    This is related to Android Auto. Controls are therefore displayed on the Android Auto screen

    New beta now works differently. When you select a folder containing sub folders, the app asks you if you want to create a single podcast or as many podcasts as there are subfolders.
    If you select the later, adding a new subfolder in your device memory later will not automatically create a new virtual podcast in the app

    AdminXavier Guillemane (CEO / Founder, Podcast Addict) commented  ·

    @oyetio the app will only ask if the folder only contains subfolders (the number doesn't matter)
    If it also contains single files, then everything is added all together in the same virtual podcast.
    Please send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)
    Thanks

    This feature request is about reordering the app main screen, not about episodes sorting. You can go into Settings/Display and enable custom sorting for podcasts so every podcast can have its own sorting mode.

    For now you can either long press on the player next button to skip to the next episode while deleting the current one and marking it as played.
    You can also go into the podcast custom settings and enable Skip outro to tell the app to automatically skip the last XX seconds of this podcast

    The app is behaving as expected here.
    If you disable play from the top, the app will keep playing as intended Podcast C episode 1 and so on until the end of the playlist is reached
    Then you can select the episode at the top of the list to restart playback

    The app keeps adding new episodes as they are published. It doesn't remove older episodes removed from the RSS feed unless you enabled this setting in Settings/Automatic cleanup.

    You can find this feature in the video player option menu

    Stitcher is one of the few podcast service which hosts a copy of the podcasts files. Therefore they can stream the content to Alexa. NPR can also do this for their content for example

    The app will answer to any remote command it receives. If your headset / BT receiver can send skip commands, then you will be able to control playback position from it. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/feedback)
    Thanks
