Yes, when driving for ex. it would be great to use just the hardware buttons to move ahead one podcast and ahead x minutes (short/long press volume button up...)

I vote for the custom hardware bution possibility.
I am often listening podcast on walk using speaker.

It would be very nice if PodcastAddict could recognize the Pressy/Klick .. or whatever button that is inserted in the headphones jack slot to can pause/play the podcast.

Currently the button works (allows pause/continue podcast) but the audio is no more sent do speaker which causes that the buttion is unusable. It thinks that headphones are in.

This feature could be very useful as you can pause it very fast without looking at the phone or inside your pocket.

Please cou you implement a phyical button so we don't need to turn on and look at the screen to play and pause?

The idea is play/pause without turn on display.
