    Absolutely! I playback slower in the car where I need to focus on the driving and can't touch the device to rewind to hear something I have missed. I play faster when exercising and can easily put my hands on the device. Also, I listen slower in noisy environments than quiet environments.

    This feature could also be used when sharing the device with family members - each person could have his or her own profile(s).

    If you really want to get complicated, each profile could be associated with different users accounts and synchronized across devises the way Windows user accounts an appear on multiple devices but each device can have its one group of accounts (many to many relationship).
