still would be nice to optimize the player screen for eye-free operation, some tactile feedback on the buttons (with lots of sloppiness allowed), sounds played when buttons activitated, etc. also, the player controls in horiz vs vert orientation are different. it's kind of odd, they should have the same button placement

personally, i wouldn't want this, sometimes a really long podcast starts (i.e., LSE) that i still want to listen to but just not now. i would want to be able to skip to next but keep it in the playlist
also would like to have a button available in player which marks as read and skips to next playlist item, in one step. otherwise i have to swipe the progress bar over or click at the end of the progress bar to get to the end, allowing player to move to another track. a lot of times it takes several taps to hit the right spot
