    I'm also very keen on this feature, especially in combination with "Archive Mode" for automatic download. If it could be set for each podcast individually, it would be even better.

    Here is the main problem:
    I have several podcasts (with hundreds of archived episodes) that I listen to from oldest to newest. Archive mode is absolutely great to get those episodes in order. I would like to listen to 1 episode of each per day (my download limit and automatic clean up are set accordingly). When I listen to one episode, it automatically downloads the next, and I end up stuck listening to ALL the episodes in the podcasts.

    I know there are workarounds but they are either impossible or cause other (less annoying) problems:
    - obviously, turn off archive mode...
    - use a very high priority for podcasts in archive mode so that they are last in my playlist: works but annoying because I may not get to these podcasts everyday (weekly episodes all arriving on the same day).
    - turn off the wifi on my phone: not an option, I need it for work.
    - change the playback order, but then I have to manually get to my other podcasts that update throughout the day.

    Did I miss anything?
