  1. AB repeat feature

If the user selects the Repeat A-B option, that would define the current playback position as the 'in' point, and the option wording would change to Repeat A-B (set endpoint). When the endpoint has similarly been selected, the track would repeat continuously between A and B until the user selects a different option.

    thanks

Would the following work for you?
Create a bookmark at position A, then create a bookmark at position B
Open the episode bookmarks list and start playing the 1st bookmark which will play from position A to B, then will keep going.
I can add a repeat button on the bookmark line, that way the app can repeat in a loop the same bookmark until the bookmark is deleted or the repeat flag is disabled
Please let me know what you think about this

  2. Use a Metadata field to fill the description pane of Virtual Podcast episodes

It would be great to use a field to fill the description pane of Virtual Podcast episodes. For example METADATAKEYGENRE.

I found some files that are using the COMM key to store a description. The next version of the app will support this and display this content as the episode description. If you have some mp3 files that use other tag, please send me an email so I can check them (Settings/Feedback)
    Thanks

  3. Priority queueing based on queue score

Priority queueing based on queue score

I suggest an interesting variant of priority queuing,
based on both the priority and age simulataneously,
similar to one used in some P2P software with request queue management.

Podcast channels would be assigned priorities as until now.

But the queue position would NOT be like
sorted by priority, than by release_age.

It would be sorted by queuescore = prioritymultiplier * releaseage
    where priority
    multiplier = 2^(priority -1)

So 8(exactly) days old episode with priority 1 would have the same queue score and as
4(exactly) days old episode with priority 2, or…

Hey, I implemented a similar feature in the latest Beta of the app as a test.
Can you please join the Beta on the app Play Store page and then download the latest update
Then please go into Settings/Playlist and enable ‘Smart priority sorting’
Please let me know how this works for you so I can know if this makes sense to have this in the next version of the app

FYI this takes into account priority and episode release date

    Thanks
