  1. Be able to organize the podcasts home by number of episodes unread

    So, I would like to enter the main screen and organize podcasts by number of unread episodes, instead of just newest or alphabetically. This would help me a great deal, with the podcast with the most episodes unread appearing first at the main screen

  2. Clickable timestamps in show notes while playing

    Some podcasts have time stamps in their show notes to denote sections on the podcast (examples: fighting in the war room and the /filmcast). While playing those kinds of podcasts and viewing the show notes, you should be able to click on the timestamps to skip to that time in playback.

  3. sort the

    When displaying all podcasts can there be an option to sort without having podcasts starting with "The" be considered a T? Ex. "The Dead Author's Podcast" would be listed as a D ("Dead Author's Podcast")

  5. Even-spaced playlist sort

    I'd like to suggest an even-spaced playlist sort so that episodes aren't played back to back and spread out as evenly as possible so if fo example I have a playlist of podcasts AABBCADB, I could then sort it to ABCABDAB, giving me two episodes between each A and B

  7. Add a one click radio streaming shortcut in Podcast Addict

    In "Podcast Addict Shortcut", we already have a shortcut to Live stream, can we have individual icons to directly launch a stream, taking the picture of the radio too ?

  8. Display time left according to playback speed

    The same as https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/17155790-display-episode-length-divided-by-playback-speed,
    but with playlist length and metadata being sent to watch (e.g. MusicBoss app on Wear shows not-adjusted time).

  9. Display chapters when playing via car bluetooth

    A few podcasts I subscribe to and download have chapters within them, but when playing podcasts in my car via Bluetooth the individual chapter details don't appear on the car player like they do within the built in player.

    Could it be possible to enable this somehow as it's most useful seeing the track details and being to skip within the file whilst driving? 

    Example podcast episodes that include chapters:

    Podcast Addict handles and displays these absolutely wonderfully within its internal player and I'm able to navigate throughout the episode using the next track buttons, however when connected…

  10. Need option flag to switch duration display when using variable speed playback.

    A new feature (https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/status/1016798) is that the playback display is recalculated based on the playback speed.

    This is great to determine the actual amount of playing time at that higher rate of speed, but makes it difficult to fast forward to a specific time. ("Hey, listen to This American Life Episode 65 at 12:35")

    Could there be an option to switch this display from accelerated duration to 1.0X duration and back?

  11. Provide an option to automatically start timer upon playback

    It would be great to have a "sticky" option for the timer i.e. have it automatically start upon playback. Used in conjunction with the Shake option, this would save having to set it each time. On another (audiobook) app I use, this feature comes in very useful as it ensures play continues as long as there's any movement; if not, then it stops and I don't miss great swathes of the book because I've fallen asleep or gone off to do something else.

  13. Add option to ignore audio notification

    It appears that in the newest version (338 build 1110) that the way the Pause Upon Audio Notification Setting works has been changed. Previously, I used to be able to completely ignore audio notifications and play the podcast at full volume. Now, it appears that my only two options are to pause and resume or to lower the volume temporarily. Is it possible to add a new option to completely ignore and play at normal volume option?

  15. Improve import of audio books via virtual podcasts

    When adding a large number of audio books it would be useful to be able to specify the top level directory and have the program treat each subflolder as a separate book. A checkbox could be added to the options to enable it.

  18. (Android) Add continuous playback for downloaded podcasts

    This should be without the need to add to a playlist.
    This is my suggestion:
    Users preset how 'Continuous' works, on all downloaded podcasts:
    It would be options like this:
    Play all podcast episodes old to new (or new to old, or date order, or alphabetically ordowmload date, irwhatever....)
    Or same options for all podcasts already downloaded,
    Or yet to be downloaded.

    I want to download a ton of podcast episodes from different podcasts. Then I want to be able to play a podcast episode. At the end of the episode, the next episode starts playing, according to whatever 'Continuous…

    The Continuous playback mode will be improved in the upcoming v3.35 version.
    It will allow you to start playing any list of episodes displayed on the screen by pressing on an episode play button no matter which screen you’re in or which filter is applied.

    You can test this in the latest beta available.

    Next version will have a new setting allowing you to choose between Podcast Addict custom layout and the device default layout for the player notification. If you disable the Custom layout then you the player notification should use the proper background color.
    A 1st beta should be available later this weekend

  20. Make sleep timer automatic

    Make sleep timer default to turn off podcast rather than have to remember to turn it on.
