Turn off vibration notification. Clean up player menus
Make it so a person can turn off vibration notification upon completion of downloading an episode. Also clean up and simplify your player menus. It is far too cluttered and cumbersome and illogical. Also have it so when one clicks play of an episode the large controls of forward pause play backward are readily visible on the screen. I dislike having to always pack for this at the bottom of the screen. Very difficult
As explained in my email answer, unless you enabled Settings/Notifications/Vibrate, the app doesn’t trigger any vibration. Some devices are known to automatically vibrate when a notification is created while the device is muted, so that might be what you’re experimenting.

Thanks for the fast and reliable answer. That's a real incentive for a donation to me ;-)

Vibration when long pressing on some buttons is normal. Those are not controlled by your settings like the notification issue described here -

I've got the same issue:
Vibration is in-app disabled and notifications for the app are disabled too.Only when using the long push for deletion I get a vibration which can't be system triggered as I changed the system vibration scheme with no changes.

The app doesn't enable the vibration by default. If you checked that the settings is disabled, then this is the device triggering the notification, not the app. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about this, as this is caused by the device notifications settings or a ROM bug.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful -

I just downloaded Podcast Addict for the first time (a few hours ago) and have the exact same concern as the anonymous commenter from back in September.
I did not enable vibration and it vibrates with every download. I tried enabling and then *disabling* right after in case that might help. No change. I don't want to have to turn notifications off entirely, but it looks like I might have to as I can't have my phone vibrating constantly like this. At least the rest of the app seems to work nicely so far. (Since a possibility of a ROM was mentioned, I'll just add my phone has stock Lollipop and is not rooted. The Play store and other apps I've used can notify me of downloads and updates without vibrating, so I don't see why this one can't.)

Please contact me in case you have a question so I can help (Settings/Feedback)
In this case it means that your device notifications might be muted and/or set to vibrate any time a new notification is displayed. Some devices ROM have a bug which will always vibrate when a notification is displayed. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about this as the app doesn't trigger this. -

Xavier, I just downloaded the app, have not enabled anything, and after every download completes it vibrates. I go to notifications and vibrate is not checked. So please provide a helpful fix. Thanks.
