Allow PodcastAddict to be installed on SD card
PodcastAddict can only be installed on the phone.
The storage folder can bee set to the SD card, but when I do this, Sonos cannot see the podcasts.
Allowing PodcastAddict to be moved to the SD card appears to be easy, as described here:

Moving the app on the SD card won’t change anything related to the Sonos app. Please follow the app FAQs in order to access your downloaded episodes from the Sonos app.
The app cannot be moved on the SD card because it will be broken on earlier android version (it will only work fine on Android 6)
You can still store downloaded files on the SD card. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

The app remains installed on the device memory but the downloaded files can be stored on the SD card by selecting SD card in Settings/Download/Storage folder -
