start playing podcasts in the background
If the playlist is empty, I can start a new podcast in the background (without a modal "starting to play..." overlay) by clicking on "Add to playlist" instead of "Play". Why can't "Play" similarly start the podcast in the background instead of making the entire UI wait until the server status streaming data?

The app behave the same way when pressing play or add to playlist on an empty playlist except that pressing play opens the player screen. They both start playback using the same code
