Add speed controls to Android Auto
Add the options to change playback speed on Android Auto on the right slide/swipe screen

Next version will allow you to customize Android Auto controls and provide a playback speed toggle button

Customizing Android Auto controls is a great idea, but the available controls are not useful. Toggling playback speed on/off is not very useful. What is wanted is two buttons to increase and decrease playback speed.

The ability to adjust the playback speed from the AA interface would be great, if it's even possible. Thank you!

Where is this feature on the Androidauto UI?

The feature as implemented currently is a great start. I'm hoping that a future update will add ability to select between more than 2 options. I like listening at 2.0x for most podcasts, but some I just can't keep up with at that speed. But 1.0x is just too slow. Thanks.

This would be a great addition to Android Auto Speed control.
Many times I'm listening by myself.. But when someone else enters the car, it would be great to flip back to 1.0x and then flip back to the configured speed.
So, something like a toggle.. Normal speed and configured speed.

That would be great! I like to listen to podcasts at a higher rate of speed, but want to change the speed back to normal for certain portions of a podcast (i.e. when music is played). I can do this with in Android proper fairly easily, but have to fumble for my phone when driving if I want to do that (and that's dangerous!). Having the option to change playback speed in Android Auto is very desirable (and promotes safe driving!).
