accept invalid SSL cert
Many podcasts I've subscribed to no longer have valid SSL certificates.
This means i, as a user, is no longer able to get content anymore.
I, as a tech bod, really don't think it's required (for a podcast) to ensure a certificate is in date, or even from a trusted CA.
Can we have a accept invalid SSL cert option?
Cheers
I’m sorry but this isn’t possible.
Google would automatically ban the app for this.
The podcast owner should use standard http instead or using https with an invalid certificate.
Out of curiosity, are you onan Android 7.0 device? If so Android has a bug which only accepts one specific kind of ‘certificates’. They fixed this in Android 7.1.1.

Same error here. This https://govoritmoskva.ru/media/broadcasts/audio/2018/01/23/2018_01_23_Podem.mp3?_=1 will not play in PA, but will elsewhere.
Android 7.0, yes. Any advice?
