Add a rewind button to the lock screen so we don't have to unlock and open the app to skip back
You can do this by customizing the player notification in the app Settings/Notifications/Player screen

These explanations are so convoluted and confusing...
You need to change TWO different settings:
1. Go to Androids settings and find notifications section. There will be a place where you can control these settings for individual apps. Find you app, TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS
2. Go to the Podcast Addict APP SETTINGS (Not Player or any other settings) and find NOTIFICATIONS. Only THEN find PLAYER (Not 'Player settings' but APP SETTINGS, then, PLAYER subset of it).
Then
- Turn OFF PREVIOUS / NEXT TRACK
- Turn ON REWIND AND FAST FORWARDYW

The rewind and FF (skip) controls disappeared from the lock screen yesterday and for the life of me, I can't get them back. The Notifications/Player options seem to have no effect. I need my skip button back!
Great App! (but options can be overwhelming and difficult to find) -

Yay I finally figured this out after reading all these threads...
Xavier, maybe you can move this setting outside of "Notifications" (which is not an intuitive name for "Lock screen player"). Thanks for this great app! -

On Samsung Note 8 (and possibly others), you have to DISABLE the native lock screen music controller to use Podcast Addict's (with FF/RW enabled per Xavier's instructions):
Settings > lock screen > information and face widgets > DISABLE music controller
Afterwards, lock screen will show PA's controller (looks like notification drawer's, with album pic) under the clock.

@David
No I'm referring to the APP settings.
You need to go into Settings/Notifications/Player to customize the notification and add the rewind button -

By the way, Xavier, not having Skip Back on the lock screen is kind of a deal-breaker for me when it comes to selecting a podcast player. I would suggest you make the information about how to select the correct settings more readily accessible on the website.
Thanks.

For clarity, the Settings Xavier refers to are the Android Settings, not Settings within PA. Specifically, (with regards to Android Nougat, at least), go to Settings > Notifications > Podcast Addict > (Gear button) > Player, then select the controls you wish to see on the lock screen.
