Have a "stop download"
Have not space enough for downloading all 900 podcasts. How can i stop the downloading without unsubscribing and loosing all 300 downloaded files?

If you want to cancel a single download go into the episode page and press the download ‘animation button’ in the toolbar to cancel it. You can also open the Download in progress filter (it can also be opened from the download notification) and long press the episode to cancel it. If you want to cancel every downloads, just use the cancel downloads button in the ‘Download in progress’ filter screen

I have now found that going into individual podcasts and de-selecting "Keep updated" takes care of this issue. I was surprised to learn that to keep updating is the default despite my global setting of "update automatically" being turned off.

I would also like to have more control about whether subscribed podcasts are automatically downloading. It would be helpful to stop downloads of selected podcasts to stop phone bloat, without having to unsubscribe and therefore delete episodes I've already downloaded but haven't listened to yet.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about.
You can cancel downloads one at a time, or by selecting multiple episodes or all of them at once.
Why are you talking about statistics?

i had the same problem. it is way too easy to download about 30x what I intended to download. I suspect Podcast Addict intended things to be that way but if the category is customer service and not accumulating download statistics, this is really annoying.
