provide a manual
with a "quick start" section
and a section outlining various patterns of use
there are so many screens/features that a hand-hold guide that gets the user going with basic functionality would be great, including
subscribe to a few popular feeds
establish download/refresh schedule
I just wrote a getting started page. I talk about the main settings of the app and I explain what they can do.
Feel free to take a look at it: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/292733-getting-started-

PA 2020.15d (build 20322). Moto G Plus. Recently updated to Android 10.
Before and since the system update to Android 10, PA stopped showing in the pull down active apps list. So if I want to change podcast, rew/FF I now have to open the app from the home screen rather than just pull the list down and short press PA. Is this a bug or intended and will PA return to the active app list? -

Some kind of online manual would be extremely helpful. The help menu available on the app is pretty useless.

Regarding the navigation:
On the main screen you have the list of podcats. You press on a podcast and you have the list of episodes. You press on an episode and you have its description. From there you can swipe between episodes, start downloading, playing, ...
On the main screen you also have some filters to display specific list of episodes (downloaded episodes, playlist, ...)
