A first beta has been published with the Alarm feature.
Please join the Beta on the Play Store app page, then update the app to get it.
I will need your help to test this on many different devices and situations to make sure this works fine.
For now everything except the Snooze feature has been implemented.

    Just tested on a Samsung S9+ and it works very well. Will continue to test it out this week. Love the volume ramp up feature! Can we have a max volume setting so that it doesn't ramp to the phones 100%?

    Hello, I wanted to find out if this option was available since I am looking through apps that sets podcasts as alarms and thats why i Installed this app. Has this been made available yet? After 906 votes...?

    I need to wake up to the radio. Without this function I will sleep forever!

    P.S. could you add this feature before 4am tomorrow morning as I need to listen to the boxing :)

    This would be a killer feature - the ability to set a specific podcast/episode/station to play at a specific time would be awesome, especially if it it's a station that doesn't update till early morning! Right now I haelve to kludge my way through 3rd party apps that only let me queue up a pre-downloaded episode, which defeats the whole purpose of "waking up to the news." PA has been fantastic, and this feature would make it stand out even more above the rest!

    I have been looking all over for a podcast alarm clock with Chromecast support - would happily pay for it, even if it wasn't 100% reliable.

    Also very happy with PA in general!
