Add Repeat Mode
Provide an option play podcasts in a “repeat” mode where the podcast just loops so that when it ends the same podcast starts over again.
This is available in the latest v2.19 version.
You can enable the repeat all/one mode from the player screen

I have enabled the loop button, and it appears on the player screen, however It does not seem to actually work. I have tried when the loop icon is green, and when it has a number in it. The podcast will end and then the player will stop. Autoplay is turned on in playlist. Is there any other setting I need to adjust to get this to work.
Thanks

Please help. When in playlist, loop all is engaged (i.e. loop button is green), but after episode plays it is automatically removed from playlist! I want to build a playlist and be able to play it over again like a music player playlist.

Here are more tips for doing this (pretty much a subset of what Dave Scotese posted):
1. If you're already on the player screen, tap the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Scroll down to 'Settings (player)' and tap it.
3. Scroll down to 'Player Controls' and tap it.
4. Scroll down to 'Loop playback' and check the box.
5. Tap the back arrow in the upper left-hand corner to get out of settings and back to the player screen. There will now be a loop button towards the bottom left of the player, above the beginning of the timeline.
6. This button is a *toggle*. It has three states:
- off / do not loop (when it's white)
- loop all episodes (when it's green)
- loop only the current episode (when its green with a '1' inside it, for 'loop one episode')

It is not available. There's a button for it but the button does not produce a loop effect.

I love this feature because it helps me memorize stuff Here are instructions to continuously repeat a set of mp3 files.
1. Add your mp3 files to a folder on your Android.
2. In the app, open the main menu by tapping the top-left horizontal lines icon and tap the gear in the lower right corner to get to the main settings screen.
3. Scroll down to "Player" and select it.
4. Scroll down to "Player Controls" and select it. Make sure "Loop playback" is checked.
5. Back out to the settings screen.
6. Select "Playlist."
7. Ensure that "Continuous Playback" is checked, as this automatically starts the next episode when the current one ends.
8. Close the Settings using the upper-left back arrow and open the main menu again.
9. Select Podcasts and then tap the circled + at the top on the right to add a podcast.
10. Tap the folder icon in the upper right corner and select the folder where you saved the files. Note that the files themselves will not appear because a "Podcast" is a folder of files, not a single file.
11. Select podcasts again from the main menu and tap the icon with the name of the folder you used.
12. Click the three vertical dots ("overflow menu") in the upper right corner and choose "Custom Settings" near the bottom of the menu items.
13. Scroll down to "Playlist" and select it and make sure "Automatic Dequeue" is unchecked.
14. Back out to the screen for the folder you chose which is now a podcast in the app.
15. Now that you're looking at the list of files you want to play repeatedly, AND "Continuous playback" is enabled AND episodes won't be automatically dequeued, you can start them playing in a loop. Because you're looking at a list of episodes, the app "will first create a temporary queue with every episodes displayed on the current screen, then start the playback." (https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/766323-how-does-the-playlist-continuous-playback-work)
16. Start playing an episode and then tap the graphic for it to open the player screen and notice the loop icon in the lower left corner. Tap it to make and it turn green. Tap it again if you want to repeat only this episode (Xavier can confirm this). Tap it a third time if you don't want episodes to repeat.
17. When an episode is finished, the app may notify you that it has been moved to the recycle bin. Since it wasn't dequeued, this isn't a problem. -

Please send me an email in case you have a question/issue (Settings/Feedback)
The setting I was referring to exists and is available in the app settings.
Thanks -

This doesnt work, there is no 'controls' option:
You can go into the app Settings/Player/Controls to add the repeat mode button to the player screen, then you can control this mode from the player screen -

@Anonymous
Nothing is gone.
Please send me an email in case you have a question so I can help.
My guess is that you disabled the repeat button in Settings/Player/Controls -

I am on the latest version of the "donate / paid" version, and I'm finding that despite the repeat episode icon being green representing an indefinite loop, that at the end of the playing podcast that it skips to the next unfinished podcast instead of staying on the same one and starting over.

You just need to press the loop icon in the player screen until it's disabled

How can I stop a podcast from repeating? Every one repeats endlessly. I don't see "repeat all/one" mode on the player screen or in settings.

This is AWESOME. Strangely, this is the only podcast app (Apple or android) that has this feature. I've been looking for this forever.
