Bring back notification fast forward/rewind?
As of the last few versions, there's no more FF/rewind controls in the notification widget, even when it's at the top where it used to be auto-expanded. Pulling down on the notification no longer expands it. There doesn't seem to be anything related in the settings; this is occurring on a Galaxy S4 with the latest CM11 nightly (Android 4.4.2).
This feature is available in Podcast Addict v2.14.1
You will have to enable the expanded notification in Settings/Notifications

But why not adding the option in settings to enable / disable it? You can then off by default and pop up a warning to Samsung's users when the option is checked.

Sorry but I don't want to add manufacturer specific code into the app.

Thank you. Is it not possible to check for either a) presence of a TouchWiz lib (indicating Samsung ROM) or b) build strings indicating major AOSP ROMs eg CM, AOKP, PA?

Everything was explained in the app changelog displayed after each new release.
It has been disabled because of a major bug in the last Samsung ROM. Devices randomly reboots when there's a progressbar in an expanded notification.
Until they fix it, the notification will remain disabled
