There's no need to keep the Update service running in BG if I disabled the auto Upd and auto Download
Title says it all. I keep seeing this Podcast Addict Update Service running, but I update/download my podcasts manually.

This background service is necessary for the app to work. BTW it doesn’t use any CPU/battery.

This cannot be disabled. If Android needs to free some resources for other apps it will kill this service automatically

OK, but in my case, service has allocated about 6 MB of memory. It's too much in my old phone with 184 MB RAM. Is it possible to disable this service?
Thanks
