fix the problem with lockscreen controls
Hi, there. I have a nexus 5 phone and since the upgrade to lollipop i have lost the lockscreen controls even when i choose this option in the settings. Cannot do anything. The screen just locks with the artwork but no controls. It is really troublesome unlocking the phone to pausr the pod in cold weather

Regarding the issue, the lock screen widget works fine. You’re facing a lollipop bug when the ‘sensitive notifications’ are hidden from the lock screen widget.

Update: If you've enabled all the controls for the lock screen widget under PA lock screen widget settings and enabled "player expandable notification" under the PA Notifications settings then you should have all the controls on the lock screen notification but ONLY when you swipe down on the lock screen notification.
Seems stupid given the way android used to handle this but at least it works and allows you to access the controls without unlocking the phone.

Xavier, I agree with Derek and Dennis. with the upgrade to Android Lollipop the lock screen controls are broken. I don't know if this is a PodcastAddict issue or an Android issue but previously when playing a podcast with lockscreen controls enabled in PA you could pause/play, and FF/RW.
Now after the upgrade you can only Pause/Play.I have lock screen controls enabled in PA, along with the FF/RW option. I also have "Show all notifications" set in the lollipop settings so there shouldn't be any issue with the controls being hidden on the lockscreen.
Keep in mind the full controls for PA work fine in the lollipop notification screen (the one you swipe down from the top of the screen) but they are missing from the lock screen. As such it is annoying to have to unlock the phone just to FF or RW 15 sec in a podcast.
I have other music apps installed which don't seem to have lost this functionality but they use a full lockscreen overlay. If Andriod Lollipop has removed this ability from the lockscreen maybe having the option for a full lockscreen overlay is one possibility.
I am using an HTC One M8 with Lollipop 5.0.1
Thanks I will resubmit my support email as well. -

Xavier, you are wrong this is not a lollipop bug. I have sensitive information shown on my lock screen and I have lost all control besides Lock and Pause. I no longer can fast forward/skip on the lock screen in Lollipop.
I will also follow up with this request on the support button.
