Sonos support
The setting that allows us to configured where podcasts are stored does not work as expected, and as such is incompatible with Sonos. If I designate /Podcasts (what Sonos expects) it should really put them in there, not in /Podcasts/podcast. I've logged this as an issue on the Sonos website as well. One or both of you should be able to handle this - hopefully both because it's not great customer service to punt when it's in your power to do so.
The upcoming beta (v3.40) will remove the ‘podcast’ subfolder but only when you select the device ‘Podcasts’ library path to store downloaded files.
Make sure to return into Settings/Download/Storage folder to do so.
Please let me know how it works for you (Settings/Feedback)
Thanks

I can't get this to work. It worked previously on my phone but now I am trying to set up my partners I can't save a new destination folder. I've tested this on my phone and I can't change/save the folder for downloads there either. The 'ok' is there but it just won't let me select it (on either phone). Any tips?

@Grégory DEVISE
Please follow the FAQs intructions and you will be able to see and access downloaded podcasts from the Sonos app. The subfolder won't be an issue anymore.

Same problem. Sonos needs to have podcast directly in "Podcasts" folder not in subfolders. Sonos don't want scan subfolder (don's ask me why... they don't know themselves). Is it possible to have that parameter ?

@george
Yes it works fine. Please follow the FAQ instructions in order to make downlaoded files available in the Sonos app

Does it work for anyone today? For me, I go to "Select the Storage folder" and it shows
"/storage/emulated/0/Podcasts" on the screen. I click OK and:Podcast Addict shows in the settings that the Storage Folder is:
"/storage/emulated/0/Podcasts/podcast"Sonos needs the first folder, the one specified.
Podcast Addict is changing the specified folder -- very unexpected behaviorWhen I manually move the podcasts to the desired folder, it works!
Seems like a simple fix! Be happy to test it for you if you want? -
