Listening statistics
A statistics section that tracks how many podcasts you've listened to, total listening time etc. I know it doesn't add anything functional, but it would be a lot of fun to have.

Next version will add a Statistics screen in the app settings, that will show the total listening time, time saved with the skip silence feature. A first beta should be available in a couple of days.
I will improve this screen and add more statistics in the following builds
Edit: Delivered in v3.26

What does Podcast Addict count as a week for the statistics?
Monday - Sunday?
Sunday - Saturday?May be a silly question but it could also be a good menu setting to allow users to set the statistics tracking schedule.

the listening or Playback statistics isn't working properly. Because I use the fast forward and skip a lot and what I noticed is It doesn't count the statistic based on the actual listening time but the elapsed time per episode.
So if I skip to the end of an episode, it will automatically count it as time listened.
If I listen to an episode twice, it will not count the second time since it only counts the elapsed time.
And if I'm half way through and go back to the beginning, it will also reduce the statistics. My suggestion is you find a way to record the stats based on the time an episode is actually playing. Really hope this helps and really hope you can correct this.

@Filippo Campolmi it uses the real episode duration for this. Sorry but the 'saved time' statistics cannot be displayed by podcast

Does the global podcast listening time refer to the real time or the time modified by speed controller?
Is it possible to extend podcast by podcast statistics also to the time saved? -
@Milmar woot
If you just mark an episode as read without listening to it it won't be taken into account by the statistics. If you only listen to 10% of the episode the stats will only show 10% of the total duration. In order to mark an episode as fully listened to you will have to listen to it completely. -

This looks like amazing work so far
Does the stats just look at what's mark as read and when or have the record all along -

It would be nice to know how many hours of podcasts I listenned to each week VS time saved with the variable playback and skip silence fonctions. This would be a great marketing gimmick if there was an option to share on social media "how many hours I saved in my week thanks to podcast addict!"

I'd like to know how many hours I have left to listen to until I'm up to date on all my podcasts. How many hours are on my phone would be nice too.

This is a really cool idea.

Latest version of the app will allow you to add a new entry called 'Playback history' in the Navigation sidebar (Settings/Sliding menu)
This screen will display the episodes you listened to. The navigation sidebar will display the number of episodes in this screen.
This isn't exactly what you were asking for but it might be something useful for now. -

PS Maybe also add a "minutes left watching statistic" for a podcast, now that would be functional!
