Reduce the memory consumption of the app's background process
The app background process use almost no memory. Once you open the app it will hold the app caches, but as soon as Android needs to free some resources for apps running in the foreground, Podcast Addict will clear its cache and the process won’t use more than a couple of MB. If it uses more it means that the device had non need to free memory until now.

This just means that Android never needed to free RAM, therefore the app cache weren't cleared. As soon as the app will receive a 'Low RAM' message it will clear it's cache. Any app which doesn't comply is killed by Android

Dear Xavier, thank you for your reply, it is good to know that you have thought about this issue. However my experience with podcast addict is different. This morning I checked the android memory use information podcast addict was using fifty MBs of memory, despite the fact that I had not been using podcast addict for a couple of days and I have started many different apps in the meantime. Perhaps this is just a glitch of my system, but I still want to let you know about it.
