Increase 'read' tolerance
Love your app, by the way. Best on the market I think, and I have done some research. I have the delete episode after listening setting on, and I'm frustrated when I stop the podcast with a minute left, and it still doesn't count it as read. It would be nice to have more tolerance there so that all the episodes I do listen to get deleted. I'm sure there are other uses for this feature.

This has been addressed by an improvement of the skip outro feature last year. You will get more details here: https://podcastaddict.com/changelog/2020_17#section3

The suggestions here don't really address the problem. I don't allways want the app to skipp the outro. Pressing and holding the next-button doesn't help if you don't want to go to the next item in the playlist.

@Ryan Stille
You can do this by long pressing on the previous/next episode button in the player screen when you're done listening to the current episode -

Xavier thanks for pointing out the 'Skip outro' feature. This is not quite the same the requested feature though. I don't want to automatically skip the end of my podcasts. But sometimes (usually) as the podcast starts wrapping up, I'll pick another podcast and start playing it. This leaves the previous podcast, that I now consider done, to still be marked as unread. I would really love it if I could tell Podcast Addict to mark a podcast as 'read' once there are only X seconds remaining.

You can set up a 'Skip outro' setting for the podcast so the app skips automatically the end of the episode or you can long press on the 'Next episode' button then the app will mark the current episode as being completed, while proceeding to the new episode -

I would find this feature useful too. 'If podcast stopped with less than xx seconds to go consider it read'
however, i think in general podcastaddict needs less options. and a general reorganise.

As explained by the previous comment you can set up a 'Skip outro' setting so the app automatically will skip the last X seconds of a podcast.
You can also long press on the next episode button to delete the current one AND skip to the next one. The app will then know you're done listening to the current episode -

Why do you stop with only a minute left? Do you know about the skip outro feature? Maybe that will work for you. I use it on some podcasts that have Comercial in the end of an episode.
