    One of the podcast apps I used before Podcast Addict (probably on my old BBOS7 phone) had a download-only-while-charging option, and its increased control over when and where my battery and bandwidth was eaten up for downloads was, IMO, one of the most useful features of the app.

    I'm doing some testing to check if I can implement this audio efect. However in order to test this I would need some sample files whith different audio levels between them or even within. Can you please send me an email with either link to some episodes (Settings/Feedback/Send email)?

    Is it possible for the app to [be updated to be able to] detect when the device is charging?

    Even with the automatic download time set (for 2:30 AM) and the wifi-only set, I still see occasional notifications of download activity during the day, often accompanied by noticeably slowed network speeds for other apps.

    One of the podcast apps I used before Podcast Addict (probably on my old BBOS7 phone) had a download-only-while-charging option, and it was, IMO, one of the most useful features of the app.
