    In Settings -> Download -> Mark as played when deleted . . .

    Is the box checked? Read the description. This may solve your problem. Hope this helps.

  2. Link podcast to the Amazon Echo Alexa app, so one can listen to podcasts via the Echo.

    In the meantime, you can just connect your device to Echo bluetooth. Echo will be an audio output device, just like any bluetooth headphone, portable speaker, etc . . . Consult Echo documentation for pairing bluetooth devices.

    Getting approved for Amazon Alexa, Sonos, etc . . . is very expensive and time consuming. But you can do what you want right away. Hope this helps.
