Yes! 1 click instead of 2 clicks and a swipe. I subscribe to the NPR 5-minute news summary. Every hour a new one goes to the top of my playlist. I'd love to be able to launch and get it playing with 1 click. But the Podcast Addict Shortcut only gets me to the playlist. I still have to swipe down a few times and click the first one to get it playing.

@XavierGuillemane I respectfully suggest you misunderstood @gerardo's request. He's talking about an existing widget titled "Podcast Addict - Player." When you click that, the podcast you were *most recently* listening to, immediately resumes playing where it left off. (With the super-helpful 5-second rewind.)
What he and I are requesting, I believe, is similar to that. Instead it would immediately being playing the *first* episode in the playlist.
In any case, huge thanks for p.a. Gotten a lot of miles out of it. (Or minutes.)
