I listen to the One Piece podcast, and their episodes have long descriptions. In the app I only see this: [...]
It would be nice if the whore description vould be included in the app. Otherwise I really like this app. Keed up the good work!1 voteThe app displays the full content of the RSS feeds you subscribed to. If you only see ‘[…]’ it means that the podcast owner doesn’t share the podcast description in the feed and wants you to go to the podcast website to read the information.
Pressing on the episode artwork in the episode description screen will open the episode website -
AutoPlay when the playlist is empty
Addict Podcast I use to broadcast independently podcasts.
The playlist is filled with the content of podcasts as and when automatically updates.
I would not need to come on my Android to press the Play button to begin playback of the playlist when it is empty.
3 votesYou can enable Settings/Playlist/Automatic playback so the app will start playing automatically when you add an episode to the playlist manually

Enable sorting in the 'downloaded' view by podcast name then publication date.
I know I can use a filter to see the downloaded episodes of one podcast at a time, but that's slow. I'd love to be able to see at a glance all the downloaded episodes sorted by podcast, then publication date.
3 votesYou can filter the ‘downloaded episodes’ screen by podcast, then you can sort the screen content by publication date, so it should allow you to do what you want.

latest downloads
I miss a latest downloads option. now I have to scroll through my whole list of downloads to find my last downloaded episodes. Thanks for the great app by the way!
1 voteYou can sort the ‘Downloaded episodes’ screen by ‘Download date (New→Old)’ that way the last downloaded episodes are displayed first

Add a "Download & add to playlist" button.
At the same time that I'm selection which episodes to download they would also be added to playlist with the same button. That way I wouldn't have to reselect all the episodes (sometimes I download in bulk of 20-30) and figuring out which ones I downloaded can take a while.
1 voteYou can go into Settings/Playlist and enable automatic playlist for downloaded episodes. Then downloading an episode will automatically add it to the playlist

Add skip back button to lock screen controls
I love the ability to quickly skip ahead and start/stop from the lock screen but I would love the skip back to be there too. Thanks. Love the app!!
1 voteIf you’re running Lollipop you can do that by customizing the player notification (Settings/Notifications/Player).
On older version of Android the default lock screen widget already has a fast backward button -
Add back the dedicated playlist shortcut icons
The current shortcut when added has no text so it's out of alignment on my home screen. I miss the old playlist icon.

Previously it was using multiple shortcuts but they have been removed. Widgets don’t display text -
Ability to remove / repeat a download
Sometimes, presumably due to poor or interrupted network access while downloading, an episode is corrupt and cannot be played. It would be great to have an option to repeat the download.
3 votesYou can delete the episode and re-download it if that’s what you mean by repeat a download.
But unless the file uploaded by the podcast owner is corrupted, you shouldn’t have corrupted files on your device -
I suggest you make it possible to change previous/next buttons on lockscreen widget to rewind/forward.
I listen to podcasts when driving, and that way would be better after I lost track because attending a bad traffic situation. What I do now in this situation: turn screen on, unlock phone, pull down the notification bar, rewind. To much hassle.
3 votesBy default those buttons behave like rewind/forward buttons. If not make sure to restore the default settings in Settings/Player/Remote Controls (Skip forward/rewind controls should be enabled)

Filtrage par duree
Pour des émission comme la bande originale de France inter, je voudrai pouvoir ne télécharger que l épisode principal. Il faudra it pour cela rajouter un filtre sur la durée pour ignorer les extraits car l émission principale n a pas de titre fixe et il y'a un dizaine d extraits
1 voteCe n’est malheureusement pas possible car la seule façon de connaitre la durée d’un épisode est de commencer sa lecture.
La plupart des podcasteurs oublient de renseigner le champ durée dans les flux RSS et lorsqu’ils le font, la durée fournie est généralement erronée… -
Remove download limit when space storage goes lower than 10%
I've donated for this app, really love it. I have a 16Gb storage phone and when the available space goes under 10%(when android L starts complaining about free space) podcastaddict doesn't download any more episodes, doesn't matter what their size really are. You can imagine this is frustrating and a realy pain in the ass to have to hunt files to delete when I still have almost 2Gb free and available on my phone!
This also happens with my girlfriend's phone that has 8Gb storage and almost 1Gb free, from witch I also donated for the app.
Please remove this…3 votesThe only check if there’s enough space to download the selected episode and make sure 200MB of free space will remain after the download. If there’s not enough space it will display a not enough space error message.
Does the app display an error message in your case ?
My guess is that there’s a setting on your device preventing apps from storing any data when the device free space is too low. -

You can listen to a podcast while browsing the app and looking at a podcast content different from the one you’re listening. -
Not really an idea, but do whatever needs to be done to reduce battery consumption when reading a Podcast.

1 voteThe app doesn’t use any CPU/Battery unless you enabled the Audio effects. Play back is handled by the device built-in player, not by the app. Make sure to disable Settings/Player/Audio player/Audio effects if you want to listen to a podcast without using any battery

It's in Danish. The first ca 30 min.
Kristian (the host) tells about Beethoven's symphonies and play it afterwards (live versions with dir. Rafael Frübeck de Burgos & DR SymfoniOrkesteret). The 9th is missing the first movement though (due to lack of space/time).1 voteSorry but I don’t understand what the feature request is. Feel free to provide more detail.

Be able to add time markers/bookmarks to episodes.
I'd like to be able to add time markers to episodes, and maybe even leave little notes on them. And then if you wanted to go crazy, and a feature to be able to share them with friends. Can we add a friend's list?

Add play back/forward buttone for one minute or two.
So you can go back on a podcast a few minutes...in other words, skip backward/forward a bit.
1 voteYou can already do that by pressing on the << / >> buttons on the player screen. By default they will skip -15s / +30s but you can change those values globally or per podcast

Some radio stations use this for their live feed.
