How to not play video on a video stream podcast?
Just play the audio, to save data and battery1 voteYou can play a video episode in the background, but this won’t save any data. This is still a video file that will be streamed or downloaded.
The only way to save data would be if this video was also available as an audio only file

Provide a long press button from the playlist for episode detail.
When viewing the playlist, it would be helpful to have a menu option (highlight and long press) to get to the episode's detail page.

Add a button to show only the downloaded episodes in a particular podcast so you don't have to scroll through everything. Thanks.
When I'm in a particular podcast sometimes I start with their old ones and it would be nice to not have to scroll through every episode to find the ones I actually downloaded. This may already be a feature but I haven't found it.
1 votePodcasts screens have a filter that allows you to select which episodes you want to see.
You can select the ‘Downloaded’ filter to only see downloaded episodes -
Document Default Sorting
I came to UserVoice here specifically for this topic : I couldn't find a Global Sort option in Settings. Now that I understand how it works, though many requests and comments here, I'm happy to use it as-designed. Given the high profile of Sorting in Q&A for this app, I highly suggest that the Getting Started Guide or FAQ include a paragraph to specifically describe how this mechanism works:

1 voteSortingis a global setting by default. Every time you change the sorting mode it applies to every screen. If you want screens to have their own sorting then you can enable this in the app settings.

Report a bug: Podcasts play silent
When I play daily audio Bible podcast all I hear is silence. I can play other podcasts fine. And if I go to Daily audio Bible website I can hear the episode fine.
I am on Android.
I would like to either hear the episode, or not be shown episodes that can not be successful ly played.

Podcast shuffle
Please add an option so that when shuffle is turned on first a podcast is chosen and then an episode from that podcast is chosen, instead of an episode being chosen from among all episodes from all podcasts.
1 voteThe shuffle mode just shuffles the content of the current playlist. If you select a specific podcast to listen to, then shuffle will only shuffles the order of this podcast episodes

Have different sorting based on the tab you're in
I'd like to sort by publication date on an individual podcasts but by download date in the downloads tab

The lock screen is managed by the device, not by the app.
The device shows apps notifications which include the player notification.
You should also see your text message if the text message app is allowed to publish on the lock screen -
Add a "Jump Backward" feature to the lock screen
Maybe I just haven't found it in the settings, but it would be nice to have a rewind feature on the lock screen so that I don't have to unlock my phone to do it.

played podcasts and new episodes
hi, i really like this app but i find two annoying issues.
1) the app count an episode as played episode only after i listen to the entire episode. most of the times, we move on and stop a little bit before the end. on those cases it still count it as an unplayed episode. i think the app should count an episode as played after 60% of the episode's length.
2) new episodes. i receive notification every time there's something new and that's great. the podcasts will show me there's a new episode until i fully play it, and…1 voteOnly the played flag tells if an episode is played or not.
You can set this flag manually or let the app do so after the episode has been fully listened to.
If you long press on the player next episode button the app will skip to the next episode while marking the current one as playedRegarding the 2nd suggestions please vote for the existing feature request to avoid creating a duplicated entry

Allow subscribing on podcast page
Awesome app. Have been using for years and paid for donation.
When searching for new podcasts, I can inky subscribe by pressing the check mark on the search results list. I cannot find how to subscribe when I click a result to see the podcast's details.1 votePlease send me an email with a screenshot of the screen you’re referring to so I can understand the problem (Settings/Feedback)

When filtering a podcast's episodes, make it so I can see unplayed episodes only.
Already played is an option, but not played isn't, and it would be nice to be able to see the ones I haven't gotten to yet when looking at a podcast with tons of episodes where I've listened to a lot of them

List of last played episodes
I like to have a list of last episodes played. Reason is that I often listen to a longer podcast, eg in bed, that I do not finish. During the day í listen to several other podcasts and like to return to the one I did not finish in the evening. Rather than searching through all my subscription, I would prefer a quick glance at the last run audios. I think a simple, self over writing (roll-over) list of say last 10 pieces would suffice (maybe this could even be configured by the user). Thanks!

You can do this by using the app widget called Opening screen to replace the app launcher icon on your home screen
You can then select the opening screen of your choice -
Mixed format playlist
Is it possible to create a list with selected podacasts from audio and video in one playlist
