How about moving 15 secs back and forth at a time?
This is on my ipad podcast app and very handy for skipping repetitive parts of shows or going back to hear a missed phrase.

Not mark items deleted every update
Seems every update my list of podcasts seems to have items marked read and deleted when I know I've not listened to them
1 voteThis means that you enabled some automatic cleanup setting. Make sure to update/disable those settings if you don’t want the app to delete older episodes automatically anymore. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

add an option to disable thumbnails
I am looking for an option to disable thumbs in the settings to have an lucid text only listing of podcasts and episodes.
Or am I just incabable to find it?

You can long press on a podcast and select Downlaod if you want to downlaod every episode. -
ensure the playlist sorts by the same sorting as the downloads
Right now, I have automatic downloads set to pull the oldest first. I have playlists set to add to the bottom. In theory, I should get older episodes first. The problem is when I get extremely long podcasts (i.e. George Carlin's Hardcore History). Even though it starts to download the oldest episode first, a newer episode will often finish first and be added to the bottom of the playlist. Episodic podcasts suffer in this regard because I end up hearing a newer episode before the prequel episode.
1 voteThe app downlaods 1 episode at a time. Therefore episodes will be added to the playlist following the download order if you enabled automatic playlist for downloaded episodes.
By default the playlist has no sorting (manual mode) in which case you can choose if new episodes are added below the current one or at the top or bottom of the playlist.
If you prefer you can sort the playlist by publication date using the sort button. Please send me an email if you have any question (Settings/feedback)

Settings Backup
Do the back ups save the settings? I love all the features of this app and have it customized quite a bit. I tend to transfer phones often however, and I've had to redo the settings each time I've restored from a back up. Am I doing something wrong or is this a feature that can be added?

Automatic check new podcasts
I think it's be cool if the app see the day in week when the podcast usually go on air and give you an alert when podcast is avaliable and show this alert multiple times in week for multiple podcasts.

Have an option to save notes for particular episodes
Many times I listen to episodes in my list and hear something really interesting that I want to revisit later. What I do now is mark the episode as starred, but it would be good if I could also add a note so I can remember why I starred it without having listen the whole thing again.
1 voteThe app has a bookmark system that allows you to attach notes to any episodes. You will find this button in the player screen and at the bottom of the episode description screen

Integrate with google to autobackup the opml to Google Drive
With the current way to back up the OPML, I have to manually upload the file to Google Drive everytime I want a record.
I've switched phones a few times and it's always a pain when I don't have a recent backup and I end up trying to remember which shows I subscribed to and which episodes I've listened to.
I'm sure you can integrate it to send the OPML to cloud backups automatically.

You can Subscribe any searches from the www.fyyd.de Webpage as a separet RSS Feed in Podcast Addict.

I'm having a lot of difficultye
There is a lot I like about the app, but lime others I'm having difficculty with PA coming back onwhen I use Bluetooth - lot now - even when I have paused it. I don't see an "x" anywhere to quit? thanks for any help.

Regarding your question, you can stop the player by pressing on the notification ‘X’ button.
Playback starts because the app receives a play remote comand. Most BT receiver will send this command when you connect a device and when BT source is selected -
Please make show notes readable from trash
Often a podcast will mention a link, piece of music, picture etc. that they'll put in the show notes but I'm often unable to look while the podcast is playing (because I'm driving etc. This is not a bug). However you can't open shownotes once they're in the trash, you have to restore, read the notes then delete again, which is a bit of a faff. It would be cool if you could open the shownotes to read/share even when the episode is in the trash. Thanks.

I would like to be able to manually mark unread from drop down menu in playlist.

You can open the episode description screen from the playlist and then press on the toolbar ‘mark unread’ entry. -
Add skip episode to android auto or "ok google"
So it's great the app lets you switch the button configuration to either do fast forward or skip mode. However on android auto, it doesn't provide the ability to choose the alternate option, like skip instead of fast forward. My workaround is to keep hitting the next button on my car controls or AA to skip 30 seconds ahead until the end of the episode. Perhaps, if supported, ok google voice support.
1 voteYou can select in the app settings how you want this button to behave. It can either skip to the previous/next episode or skip -15s/+30s.

Provide a customizable home screen.
At the moment the home screen shows a list of podcast programs. However, more often I go to the Playlist page. It would be nice to be able to choose the page e.g. Playlist, List of podcasts, New episodes etc.
