  1. Have a way to set default timing for sleep timer

    I use the "sleep timer always on schedule" so i can listen to podcasts and hopefully drift to sleep at night, without worrying that the app will drain my battery. But 30 min is too short and I'm still awake. Always have to reset the timer. Suggest a way to set a default timing ( for me i will probably need a hour at least or 90 min)

  2. Playlist duration

    Currently playlist duration is based on 1.0x time, I would like to see playlist duration based on either default playback speed or individual podcast speeds.

  4. using one earphone

    I am using only one earphone of my bluetooth-headset. Is it possible to disable the other earphone so the accumulator of my headset lasts longer?

  5. Make it easier to locate downloaded files as source of Virtual Podcast.

    I've been through this before, when I've switched phones. But today, I am stuck and cannot figure it out. When I add a podcast and select Virtual, the folder location I want shows immediately, but the OK button is greyed out. Also, I do not see the MP3 files I know are in this folder. How do I do this? THanks

    The app allows you to browse the device storage folder, however you cannot select the app default storage as the source of a virtual podcast as every podcast downloaded episode would be displayed in your virtual podcast. Feel free to contact me if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

  7. Include a 'History' option to show which podcasts have been listened to.

    I would be useful to be able to check which podcasts have been listened to. I listen to many podcasts every day and sometimes struggle to remember which podcasts featured a particular guest or story. Being able to check a history file would provide a very useful prompt.

  8. Tri par émission

    Bonjour,
    Serait il possible d'avoir un tri par émission ?
    Par exemple, j'ai une émission (cours de langue) que je souhaite trier de la plus ancienne à la plus récente, et inversement, d'autres émissions des plus récentes aux plus anciennes.

  9. Make icon smaller

    The icon that takes me to my playlist is bigger than all other all icons on my phone, and does not fit into the bottom row of consistent icons.

    Is there a way around this?

  10. Autoplay episodes

    Adding an autoplay episode feature or making it easier to create a playlist.

    I think it would be cool to have an autoplay toggle button in the user setting so that users can either choose to use it or have the playlist. The autoplay episode feature would make it easier to go to the next episode down as the user finishes his/her episode for the podcast. This would make it safer for drivers who use the app to listen to their favorite podcast as they go about their day instead of queuing up the next one manually.

  11. Make the notification player permanent

    Make the notification player permanent so that I can always use it to resume playback.

    It sometimes disappears after a while or when pausing and switching to other apps even though I have it set to stay on when paused.

    Also add a method to force the app to always be running in the background so that it can always listen for bluetooth control and be able to resume playback at any time.

    In my use case. I am always using podcast addict even if I momentarily pause playback or switch to a different app. It shouldn't be removed from…

    This notification is permanent. If it disappears it means that the device killed the app. Unfortunately, there’s no way for me to prevent the device from doing that. Just make sure to exclude the app from the device Optimized apps list to limit the chances of the device killing the app

  12. A way to reduce filesize of badly compressed podcasts

    Some podcasts are annoyingly bigger compared to other podcasts of the same lenght.

    Perhaps there could be a way to convert the data file to a more optimized format, on par with those other podcasts.

  13. Include the ability to make different playlists

    Instead of just having the one playlist you can create by adding episodes, have the ability for multiple separate playlists. Then I could have one for the news/informational podcasts, and one for comedy podcasts, as I often am only in the mood to listen to one type or the other.

  14. filter podcasts by length for automatic download

    It would be nice to have the option in automatic downloads to filter some podcast with a specific length time.
    For example, no automatic download if length is more/less than X minutes.

    Some podcasts rss are publishing full episodes (like 60 minutes long) and then on the same feed some podcast extracts (5mn each).
    In this case, I would like to download and hear only the long podcast and not the short extracts I already heard during the main one.
    For that, I would choose a filter "do not download if length less than 10mn".

  15. Allow different sort order for recent vs downloaded lists

    Currently the Order by sort configuration can be set for the "Recent episodes" list - e.g. by publication date. However this also affects "Downloaded episodes".
    It would be great to allow different sort ordering of these lists - e.g. sort recent episodes by publication date, but sort downloaded episodes by download date.

  16. The playlist should be able to remove played marks! You use to.

    Playlist, select each track that you missed due to sleep or being away, hit 3 dots and you have a choice like you use to. Mark played and unplayed.
    Because at the point of listening you don't know what the podcaster has done. Playing old content, using someone else's you have heard. The selected options as it stands on this screen are unhelpful.
    You have constantly removed options from point of information is found, making things more difficult than they should be.

  17. Users mark ads

    Create button that allows users to mark beginning and end of ad during podcast. Users opt-in to sharing this info with other users. Users can then opt to allow playback to automatically fast-forward through ads (as marked and shared by other users). Kind of like Waze allowing users to share locations of hazards, speed traps, etc. As every user's mark would be slightly different, would need to just average the input.

  18. search function is bad. It is hard to find a Podcast with this. Lots of irrelevant Podcasts are presented

    Just add a size information near the time so user can see how much will be downloaded 🙂

    I listen to podcasts basically in 2 modes. From the oldest episode to the latest or the other way around. Depends whether the podcast is the kind that reflects actual topics or is rather chronological.
    What I really miss is
    either a button by the list of episodes to flip the sort order or a per-podcast sort order configuration, so that I don't have to scroll to the bottom of the list for the oldest episode I haven't heard.
    Actually even just one more option in the filter drop down menu would be fine.
